I’ll provide a safe place to take a breath, calm your nervous system, and be messy and complicated.

All I ask of you is to show up, as you are.

OUR PROCESS & GOALS

The process of therapy gives us the opportunity to rewrite our stories,
to decide how they’re going to end.

Uncertainty, anxiety, and overwhelm are part of our contract with life. But when we cultivate emotional agility, we stop feeling like a sailboat swaying in the winds of the storm of life. We can be truer to ourselves and our wild calling in this world.

As a therapist, I work holistically with the interconnection of the mind/body/brain to understand and build language for the underlying emotions that drive our foundational beliefs -peeling away layers to bring awareness to all the parts of ourselves so that we can stand strong in who we are.

Emotional agility is like a muscle, through practice it can be strengthened, enabling you to use emotions as data and not directives.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space,
and in that space is our power to choose our response.”
–Victor Frankl

the power of Your Story

We all have our stories, about our lives, our family of origin, and our relationships.   The power of that story lies in how we hold it.  I want to hear your story, to understand how you hold it, and how it serves you.

For most of us there have been struggles along the way.  Some of us get stuck in that struggle and it continues to be part of our story. For some, those stories feel too painful to tell.  When we never learn to tell our story it can leave gaping holes.  If we think of our stories as data from our soul, we can use them as powerful tools to help us make meaning, understand who we are, and explore the possibility of a different story, or ending.

Together…

Let’s shed the “shoulds” and “coulds” and integrate tools to anchor you in your own personal values, beliefs and desires.

Let’s build your capacity to be present with your experience while creating the space of acceptance, self-compassion, self-care, and empowerment.

Let’s practice identifying what you need in relationships - with yourself and others - to continue down your path toward self-realization.
